I had a visit to orphanage last year so basically every girl who is refused by their parents or by any issues their parents leave them their and its the orphanage who take care of them as social work. Name or orphanage is APNA GHAR in islamabad they provide all the necessities to the girls like food shelter schooling. I always feel so proud for the workers working in their and managing the stuff like this. We all know Eid is a very special festival and girls specially wants new clothes jewellery etc etc but the amount of girls in orphanage are very much and the organization can not afford all new clothes for them , I addressed this problem that they have hearts too just like us and they deserve the smiles and eidi on Eid atleast because its a special day.
i had a conversation with their organizations head in which they tell us that we are able to full fill the very basic desires but we cant entertain them with such things on special ocassions due to lack of funds . When we turn back home we all discussed that why not this time we come up with a EID CLOTHES drive in which people donate their used clothes instead of throwing them or wasting they can donate us then we can pack them like wisely according to the ages of girls they are having.
Importance of this Eid cloth drive was very vital because these girls spend their whole lives in that orphanage which is their school their home their everything so why not to provide them the eid clothes so that they can celebrate that day also and think that we are not the bad lucks but Allah has plans for us and we are important i guess this is also a motivation for them the happier they are the more they grow.
while choosing this step we were pretty sure that we will at least make them happy so my ideas was to start doing the fund raising and clothes collection for the girls . As the situation of Covid is getting worst we all need to take care not many of people can come and donate so i devised a plan that we will be posting through internet and making it viral so if they really want to donate they can send us through bikea or I can take some donations from my neighbours also. By the end of collection we will be arranging the clothes in a symmetry and then sending it to the orphanage of these angels.
we all spend our ramzan in great situation and we do prepare ourself full on EID then lets think about the people or specially the children who doesn’t have families or their families have re fused to take them. Lets think positive and lets make them happy too on this special day.
