I was situated in my bedroom while doing this activity and it was my study corner. And in my study corner I had a bookshelf which was really messy and I figured out that it should be fixed.
The book shelf before the fixing looks like this:
I noticed that it was quite messy and giving a disturbing look to my whole room everything was so misplaced because in my busy time I didn’t get time to fix my things and I just try to put all the stuff and extra things on this shelf rather then their own place. It need to be fixed by every prespective like the books I don’t use or the laptop bag on the top is wrongly placed and it doesn’t even contain my extra laptop placed in third shelf along with that on the second shelf my prayer mat was lying where as its real place is inside my cupboard. Books were not aligned in the shelves.
To fix it I first all I took my laptop from the third shelf placed it in my laptop bag and put this laptop bag in my study table section, then I arranged the books in order to give it a synchronized look .I took all the extra material like my small things stapler hand free’s cover into a small bag and placed it in bed corner section to empty this space. On the top I just take my stationary cups behind the frame after some changes it looks like:
I feel so much better and relaxed after looking at this because whenever I was having a look at my book shelf it was giving me stress. Cleaner shelf is giving a whole cleaner look to my bedroom also, I realized that how we can change things in sometimes and it effects your inner soul and gives you satisfaction.
I wouldn’t have done this task if I hadn’t asked to do so because everyday I was planning to do it but due to time issues or my own laziness I was delaying it.
This activity helped me to understand everyday leadership and how we can apply leadership without authority as I was asked to do this activity and I wasn’t in a position of leadership but I had a task to accomplish and to fix things around so if I am not even a leader I can do it without having any particular authority regarding this.
